DOUBTS IN A CAGE

I lock up my doubts in a cage, just so you would walk through

For there is light in this life

So open your eyes, now

Hold my hand, closely

Never let go; I pray thee

I pray for you every time

Trade my voice to my thoughts, sometimes

I get sores on my knees, just so you will never go down on yours

Because I love you; I love you, so much

Such is truth that is very hard to destroy

Do not lay your burdens on others, nor on rocks

Have faith in me, while I still breathe

They say this love is too much; it is fully absurd

But what choice do I have?

That is the only arrow left in my quiver

Do not listen to those that imitate me

And do not listen to those that intimidate thee

For I am the one you can look up to, anytime

Your truest companion and love
